Welcome to the Team, Wyatt!

Wyatt Trull is a top notch debater and experienced coach, and it is an honor to have him join our team. Wyatt’s top accomplishments include winning 1st place in Team Policy, Team Policy Speaker, and Apologetics at the 2023 National Championship. Plus, in 2022 he took third place in Lincoln-Douglas Value at the National Championship.

Wyatt also comes to us with significant coaching experience: he led LD at his local club for the past two years, teaching both groups and individuals how to debate excellently for Christ. His students tell me that he has done excellent work in the past, and I am confident he will continue to do so in the future.

At Rhetoric LLC, we talk a lot about the importance of communicating the truth, and making the Lord’s view of what you are saying of higher importance than what a judge might think. Wyatt embraces and teaches these ideas wholeheartedly. He knows how to win, but he also clearly demonstrates that he knows that excellence for the Lord is what we are striving after, not trophies.
