God is in control. He determines the outcome of the tournament, and that should provide you with peace knowing that God already sees what is to come according to His will. That isn’t to say that goal setting is pointless, because you don’t know the future. But you do know the God in control of the future, so take your goals up with Him. Be submissive to the will of God and know that He puts everyone in their place.
